Missions in Vietnam:

Dear Aloha & WFG,

 

Living near the Mekong River, the hurricanes come every year and leave behind massive floods, destruction and death. Knowing the danger of these children living in an active flood zone, it is crucial to protect healthy innocent children from drowning every year.  A life vest to save a LIFE!  This life vest can be used for years to come.  We can make and impact and we can make real difference!  

 

I would like to take a personal note to express my deepest gratitude to Aloha and WFG Associates.  Without your support & kindness, we would not be able to help 1460 students in three different schools.   Now these schools are prepared & equipped to protect these students whenever the hurricanes come!!!  LIFE VEST DONATIONS MAY HELP SAVE LIVES!!!

 

Mission Trip Summary Vietnam, 9/15/14 to 9/16/14

 

On 09/15/2014, eight of us with two full loaded trucks of books, pens and life vests headed to Trường THCS Hưng Trạch số 1, Xã Hưng Trạch, huyện Bố Trạch, tỉnh Quảng Bình.  It was a beautiful Monday and with the support from Aloha and WFG Associates, we were able to give out a total of 420 packages of gifts to Elementary students.   Each packages included 1 life vest, 5 books and 5 pens.

 

On the second day, 09/16/2014, we experienced heavy rain.  However, that did not stop us.   We came to Trường Tiểu Học Hưng Trạch, xã Hưng Trạch, huyện Bố Trạch, tỉnh Quảng Bình. That morning, we gave out 200 packages of gifts again.

 

Later in that afternoon, we visited Trường THCS Sơn Trạch, xã Sơn Trạch, huyện Bố Trạch, tỉnh Quảng Bình and gave out a total of 840 packages of gifts to the kids.

 

Within two days, we gave out a total of 1460 packages of gifts that made a real difference for the students and teachers in time of needs.  The support from Aloha and WFG Associates built the children and teachers confidence and faith when they come to school. I can’t express enough the happiness shown on the students’ faces through words.  We truly made a HUGE difference in 1460 student’s life.  These life vests will continue to make more difference in the next 10 years to 1460 students’ lives.

 

Your generous gift ensured our services and programs remain available to families and communities who need them most.  Many smiles & hope shine on the faces of these students and teachers.   Through Aloha and WFG, we made a real difference by providing these three schools a safer new beginning.
